7-Keto DHEA- When dehydroepiandrosterone, DHEA, has been introduced, it was lauded as the anti aging miracle drug, the fountain of youth. Once the concern grew that DHEA may promote the growth of not detected tumors, the interest fizzled. The scientists would not give up on the DHEA and have isolated the 7-Keto DHEA component, which is supposed to give all the positive effects, without the negative aspects. 7-Keto DHEA has shown in studies conducted with lab animals that it promotes the immune system, is anti catabolic, improves memory, raises indirectly the metabolism rate, which then burns more calories. Guggul Extract- Guggul is a flowering plant in the genus Commiphora and family Burseraceae. It is also scientifically known as Commiphora wightii or Mukul myrrh tree. It is also used in ancient system of Indian medicine for treatment of heart ailments. Octopamine is a secretion initially discovered in the salivary glands of the Octopus and hence the derivation of the name. it tendso to act as a neurotransmitter, transmitting messages from the neurons to the brain and vice versa. Octopamine has been found to have a tendency to release fat deposits from cells, thus aiding in the loss of weight. It is therefore being used as a slimming agent by most people, even though there is no concrete evidence that it does assist in weight loss, for sure. Octopamine is also believed to increase blood pressure levels when it is in combination with other weight loss stimulating supplements. Although not much is known about Octopamine, a deeper study is being conducted into its uses and effects.
